Gran Turismo 7, which launched in early March, received on Thursday (17) its first Refresh, patch 1.07. Nonetheless Refresh left the game in a maintenance that lasted over 24 hours, in addition to making changes that did not please the players at all.

According to information from eurogamer, the patch made it difficult for players to get credits for the game. The perk helps players, for example, to buy a more expensive car, which will now take significantly longer.

Some gamers have spoken out in reddit and Twitter about the changes, which of course weren’t all that bad as the update also fixed the bus bug. However, the reduction in earned credits has attracted the attention of fans of the game, who are still unhappy and so far without any statements from Sony.

Some are considering filing a refund request for the purchase of the game, as they believe the brand’s strategy is to force users to buy credits, which is unacceptable given the high price already paid for the game. In Brazil, for example, Gran Turismo 7 costs R$350 for PS4 and PS5, according to the price listed on the official PlayStation website – the price may vary depending on retailers.

“Basically, I will never make any microtransactions in GT7. The game has definitely reached the point where it takes too long for the average player to earn credits,” one player tweeted.

On the official Gran Turismo website, you can track service statuswhich remains active for now and keeps the name inaccessible. Click here and check out all the 1.07 patch notes.
